A Contemporary Tradition in the SF Bay Area

Mills College offers an intimate environment for dancers, choreographers, and dance scholars to pursue graduate study in modern dance. Students have the opportunity to work with internationally known guest artists from New York to San Francisco, perform and choreograph works from proscenium stage to studio, and participate in the Mills Repertory Dance Company, performing work by Trisha Brown, Molissa Fenley, Margaret Jenkins, Mark Morris, and Paul Taylor. We offer three graduate degrees in dance, including:

MFA in Dance with an Emphasis in Choreography
MFA in Dance with an Emphasis in Choreography and
   Performance
