Graduate-level creative writing workshops (2 semester course credits). Both workshops must be taken in the genre in which the student was accepted to the program. Workshops in other genres may be taken for elective credit.

May include 100- or 200-level courses in literature or interdisciplinary seminars as well as courses in other disciplines that complement the student's particular field of inquiry. Examples would include courses in music, dance, studio and intermedia art, other book art courses such as BOOK 130 History of the Book, and craft and pedagogy courses offered through the English Department.
