Professor Mark Henderson, along with Professors Lorien Rice and Maggie Hunter, presented their research about the struggle for educational equity within and between districts in San Francisco at the American Educational Research Association annual conference on Wednesday, May 1.
We are excited to announce that Isabel Cortes (MPP '13) and Anne Moses, President of Ignite and Mills Public Policy Adjunct Professor, were named Susan B. Anthony Honorees by the National Women's Political Caucus Alameda North Chapter.
Congratulations to Lori Droste (MPP '11), Carla Hansen (MPP '11), and Natasha Middleton (MPP '13) on their acceptance into Emerge California, a rigorous training program for women who aspire to run for office. We look forward to seeing their names on a ballot in the near future!
Professor Sharyl Rabinovici was recently elected as a director at large of the Northern California Chapter of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI). Mills Public Policy Program Presents Master's Policy Report Presentations 2013 Candidates for the Master's in Public Policy
The Mills Public Policy Program is committed to preparing leaders who can inform action with analytics to make a positive impact in government, nonprofit, and corporate arenas.
All graduate students in our MPP and MPP/MBA Programs use their interdisciplinary professional training to conduct independent analyses of policy problems for organizations of their choosing. Under faculty supervision, each student produces a Master's Policy Report (MPR), a paper that meets both the school's academic standards and the needs of a practitioner who acts as a client for the project.
Please join us to see the culmination of our graduating students' work.
