My artistic exploration is informed by an awareness of the body, its sensuality, and its containment by society. I ask the viewer to question her/his relationship to the body, and the body’s relationship to the outside world. I am interested in expressing how the process of being examined, exposed, explored or consumed can lead to an experience of alienation from one’s body, and isolation from the surrounding world.
