Melody Sage:   Food Not Bombs

America throws away tons of food each year. Meanwhile, some 37 million live in poverty, often lacking basic human needs. Food not Bombs, a grass-roots network of everyday people, has been feeding the hungry as a statement against waste and poverty for 26 years. Their efforts have not gone without notice, and the attention they receive is not always positive. Reporter Melody Sage visited our local East-Bay Food Not Bombs to find out how they are combating poverty.and how local government is combating them.
