Element K - Training Tips

Please stop by our office hours if you would like some help. They are held on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:30 in the Technical Services office in the Library.

The course list can be viewed by clicking the Catalog tab on the Element K site. This list will change as new software becomes available and new courses are developed. Prerequisites and requirements are listed.

Getting Help:

A good place to start is to check out our FAQ pages. There's a link on the left.

To get help when you're already logged in, click the button located on the top right portion of Element K web pages. This will present to you a comprehensive list of help topics. Some links, as noted, lead to Element K's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) pages.

Also note, there is a link to "support options" and a "glossary" in the upper right of your Help page. The support options page shows you how to submit a support request, chat online(24/7) with a support agent. There is also a toll free helpline available: 1-800-250-8013.

Using Browser Bookmarks with Element K:

It is possible to bookmark different locations within Element K, but this should be done with caution. As Element K grows, changes in servers or other site reorganizations may cause bookmarks inside Element K to stop working or take you to outdated pages.
