Mills College offers exchange opportunites at the following universities in South Korea and China:
Ewha Women’s University, Seoul, South Korea
Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China
An exchange program differs from a study abroad program in that it is a direct exchange of students from one institution to the other. This means that students from Mills College go to either Ewha or Lingnan as individuals and guests and enroll directly in the institution rather than having the more limited access to the institution that would be available through a study abroad program provider.
The application process for International Exchange is the same as that for the Study Abroad Program, except that the student must first apply through Mills and be accepted to the exchange program.
Ewha Women’s University
The Spirit of dedication existed from the very start of Ewha's history. This true spirit of Ewha finds countless evidence in silent donations by the professors for the students and the university, in students activities for the needy, and in responsible actions by Ewhaians in all corners of the society. The unswerving stand of Ewha's education and its excellence is founded on this continuity of the Ewha Spirit. To carry on in this spirit, Ewha has continued to improve its educational and research environment and the over-all quality of the education it provides to serve as the Mecca of women’s education. As the leading force in women's education and a pioneering force in the history of Korean women, Ewha understands fully the requirements of the 21st century.
