Queer Studies Minor

Required:

WGSS 072 Introduction to Queer Studies (1)

WGSS 101 Feminist and Queer Research Methodologies (1)

Four additional courses selected in consultation with advisor from this list:

EDUC 129 Schools, Sexuality, and Gender (1)

ENG 061R Studies in Lesbian Writing (1)

ENG 104 Introduction to Critical Theory (1)

ENG 152 Poets of Color (1)

ETHS 052 African American Women's History (1)

ETHS 156 Contemporary Queer Writers of Color (1)

WGSS 105 Sexuality and the City (1)

WGSS 135 Race, Sexuality, and the State (1)

WGSS 175 Transnational Sexualities (1)

WGSS 187 Fieldwork Study (1)

Special topics courses and courses with relevant service learning components can also be counted toward the minor with advisor approval.
