WGSS Writing Contest
For essay or nonfiction paper pertaining to women's issues. Open to all undergraduate Mills students. Winning paper will be kept on reserve in the Library.

Prize: $100 and a gift certificate for a book!

Queer Studies Writing Contest
New! Queer Studies Writing Contest for essay or nonfiction paper pertaining to Queer Studies. This contest is designed to recognize, support and honor the exciting student work being done in the field of queer studies at Mills. Open to all undergraduate Mills students. The winning paper will be kept on reserve in the Library.

Prize: $100

Bring all entries to Vera Long 118 or email to wgss@mills.edu
Include a cover sheet with:

• the title of your paper
• which contest you are entering
• your full name
• your phone number
• your email address
• your academic level

Important: Do not write your name on any other page in your submission. Prize will be presented at the Awards Convocation.

DEADLINE for both contests: March 15, 2013
