Family Weekend
Thursday, September 22–Sunday, September 25, 2011

You are cordially invited to join us for Family Weekend 2011 and celebrate the inauguration of the 13th president of Mills College. During this very special weekend, you will become part of history as we install a new president for the first time in 20 years. You will also enjoy a variety of lively and engaging events that will help you discover what makes Mills such a special place!

When you first arrive on campus, please register at the locations and times noted on the schedule. At registration, we will provide you with a folder that includes program updates, a campus map, and your name badge. The name badge will serve as your entry pass to all events listed in the program, unless otherwise noted. Check back frequently for updates on the festivities as they unfold!

Your name badge also allows you access to Mills athletic facilities. Please bring appropriate clothing and equipment if you wish to take advantage of our swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts, or fitness trail.

The official hospitality room for Family Weekend guests is located at the Tea Shop in Rothwell Center on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday and at Café Suzie in Rothwell Center on Saturday. Simply show the staff your name badge to enjoy complimentary coffee, selected beverages, and snacks. The Hospitality Center will be open on Thursday from 7:00 am–10:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am–5:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am–1:00 pm, and Sunday from 11:00 am–5:00 pm.

Meal tickets for Founders Commons are available for purchase with cash at the door; no advance reservations are necessary.
