When you first arrive on campus, please register at the locations and times noted below. At registration, we will provide you with a folder that includes program updates, a campus map, and your name badge. The name badge will serve as your entry pass to all events listed in the program below, unless otherwise noted.
Your name badge also allows you access to Mills athletic facilities. Please bring appropriate clothing and equipment if you wish to participate in our Tennis Festival or take advantage of our swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts, or fitness trail.
Meal tickets for Founders Commons are available for purchase with cash at the door; no advance reservations are necessary.

Dance Rehearsal: Karen Kilimnik’s World of Ballet and Theater Exhibition 11:00 am–4:00 pm Mills College Art Museum Explore a new exhibition of 35 works by internationally acclaimed American artist Karen Kilimnik. The Dance Rehearsal exhibition showcases Kilimnik’s fascination with historical theater, which she explores through mediums ranging from figurative drawings and mixed media installations to set and costume design.

Julia Morgan Buildings Tour 4:00 pm–4:30 pm El Campanil Join Karen Fiene, campus architect, for a tour of the historic Julia Morgan-designed buildings on campus: El Campanil (1904); Margaret Carnegie Library (1906); Student Union (1916); Kapiolani Cottage, formerly Mills’ infirmary (1910); and Alderwood Hall, now the Julia Morgan School for Girls (1925).
Dinner in Founders Commons 5:00 pm–7:30 pm Founders Commons Dine with your Mills student in picturesque Founders Commons and enjoy sweeping views of the Mills campus. Sample the wide array of delicious food choices that emphasize organic and fresh local ingredients. Mills students may use their meal plan or Mills Points.
