Commencement: Parking 

Please allow extra time for parking before the Commencement ceremony. Even with extra traffic officers and our Public Safety staff directing traffic on campus, there still is a back-up when approaching the entrance of Mills College.

Once you are on campus, a Public Safety Officer will direct you to a parking lot. A shuttle service will run between your parking lot and the drop-off area by Olin Library, near Toyon Meadow, where the ceremony is held. Degree candidates participating in the ceremony should proceed directly to the Oval in front of Mills Hall. Note: The Oval is closed to traffic.

Students/guests displaying the official state/Mills disability placard will be directed to a specially designated parking lot.

After the Commencement ceremony has concluded, Wetmore Gate (by the Education Building/Children’s School) will be open for exit only traffic. The main gate at the entrance of Mills College always remains open.
