Reinhardt Alumnae House

Nestled in a tree grove on a private corner of the Mills College campus, Reinhardt Alumnae House can be rented for wedding receptions, meetings, birthday parties, or other special occasions. Built in 1949, the Aurelia Henry Reinhardt Alumnae House was designed by architect Clarence Mayhew. Accommodating groups of up to 150 people, Reinhardt Alumnae House features a large living room, a patio, a lawn with outdoor lighting, and a service kitchen. The Alumnae House is accessible and is equipped with a unisex accessible restroom and a women's restroom.

The living room measures approximately 1,268 square feet and features hardwood floors, two fireplaces, large picturesque windows overlooking a Eucalyptus tree grove, direct access to a 235-square foot patio, and a beautiful lawn and garden.

The small service kitchen has a refrigerator, gas stove with a digital oven, and plenty of counter space for your catering needs. We recommend using our on-site caterer, Bon Appetit. The Bon Appetit catering manager can be reached at Shannon.Butler@cafebonappetit.com or 510.430.2042.

Reinhardt Alumnae House offers unique features that facilities of similar size may not have, such as rental dates with ten-hour time periods. We also have free parking on campus.
