Before Arriving on Campus

All students are required to confirm their attendance each semester before they arrive on campus.

Once you have paid or arranged payment, you are eligible to confirm your semester attendance online beginning Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 9:00 am.

The deadline to confirm your semester attendance is Monday, August 24. Students who confirm their semester attendance after this date may be assessed a $250 late fee. Students who do not confirm their semester attendance by the add deadline (September 9), even if registered for classes, will be considered as having withdrawn without notifying the College.

Online Instructions

• Login to the Mills Resource Portal*
• Click on "Confirmation of Semester Attendance" under the heading "Applicant & Student Resources in myMILLS"
• Follow the prompts and select "Fall 2009" from the drop down menu to confirm your semester attendance

*If you cannot recall your password or need to create one, click the "Forgot your Mills password or need to create one?" link.

Student ID Card

All students must have their IDs validated each semester. Validate your ID at Housing Management and Dining Services (HMDS) in Sage Hall 138.

Students who have lost their ID cards must get replacements and will be charged a $10 fee.

Residential students must have a valid Mills ID card to use dining services.

Parking Permit

All students using vehicles on campus must obtain a 2009-10 parking permit. This permit will be valid for both the fall and spring semesters.

Please complete the Parking Permit Request form in myMILLS:

• login to the Mills Resource Portal
• click on "Register Your Vehicle or Request a Parking Permit"
• Follow the instructions
• Present your car registration and pick up your parking permit at Public Safety in CPM 113 when you arrive on campus in August.

Parking permits will be enforced beginning Thursday, September 10.

What is Confirmation of Semester Attendance?

This process verifies that you plan to attend Mills this semester, allows you to move in, validate your student ID, and obtain a parking permit.

Why am I required to confirm my attendance each semester?

Registering for classes does not mean that you will actually attend Mills. Confirming your attendance informs Mills that you plan to attend and grants you eligibility to move in and have your ID validated each semester.

What is the deadline to confirm my semester attendance?

Monday, August 24, is the deadline to confirm your semester attendance.

When can I move in?

Residential students can move in beginning Monday, August 24 according to the schedule above.

When is the last day to validate my student ID?

Tuesday, September 1, is the last day to validate your student ID.

When is the last day to pick up my parking permit?

Monday, September 7, is the last day to pick up your parking permit.
