Before Arriving on Campus
All students entering Mills for the first time are required to confirm their semester attendance at Mills before they arrive on campus.
You need to pay or arrange payment for your semester charges by paying your tuition in full (minus financial aid) by August 3, 2009, or by setting up a payment plan with Tuition Management Systems (TMS) and making the first payment by August 3.
Once you have paid or arranged payment, you are eligible to confirm your semester attendance online beginning Wednesday, August 12 at 9:00 am. The deadline to confirm your semester attendance is Monday, August 24. Students who confirm their semester attendance after this date may be assessed a $250 late fee.
Online Instructions
- Go to the Mills Resource Portal
- Login using your Mills student ID (e.g., B00xxxxxx.jpg), social security number, or Mills user name
- Enter your network password*
- Click on "Confirmation of Semester Attendance" under the heading "Applicant & Student Resources in myMILLS"
- Follow the prompts and select "Fall 2009" from the drop down menu to confirm your semester attendance
*If you cannot recall your password or need to create one, click the "Forgot your Mills password or need to create one?" link.
Student ID Card
- Email a color digital photo (JPEG) of your head and neck, with a clear view of your face, and without a hat, sunglasses or anything that hides your features
- Name your file with your Mills ID number (e.g., B00xxxxxx.jpg)
- Email your photo to housing@mills.edu by August 1.
If you do not have a digital photo, you may mail in a passport photo to:

Parking Permit
All students using vehicles on campus must obtain a 2009-10 perking permit. This permit will be valid for both the fall and spring semesters. Follow these instructions to request one:
- Login to the Mills Resource Portal
- Click on "Register Your Vehicle or Request a Parking Permit" under the heading "myMILLS"
- Follow the instructions
- Present your car registration and pick up your parking permit at Public Safety in CPM 113 when you arrive on campus in August.
Parking permits will be enforced beginning Thursday, September 10 and can be picked up in the CPM building, room 113.
