College 10s and the Upper-Division Interdisciplinary Requirement

To satisfy the first component of the General Education Interdisciplinary Requirement, students who entered Mills prior to Fall 2003 as freshwomen or as transfers with less than 17 Mills credits accepted on entrance are required to complete a College 10 Seminar, the first course of the two-course interdisciplinary requirement.

Students may take one of the following COLL 060s offered this spring to satisfy the COLL 010 requirement.

The second course of the two-course interdisciplinary requirement for students who entered Mills prior to Fall 2003 is the Upper-Division Interdisciplinary Requirement which must be taken during the junior or senior year. Courses which meet the Upper-Division Interdisciplinary Requirement are listed in the 2002-2003 Catalog under “General Education Requirements.” Students who transferred to Mills prior to Fall 2003 with at least 17 Mills credits are not required to complete a College 10 course, but are required to satisfy the Upper-Division Interdisciplinary Requirement.

Service Learning
