To Do Right Now

• Reserve your place at Admitted Student Preview Day for first-years on Monday, April 14, 2008 and for transfers on Friday, May 30, 2008.
• Explore A Student's Guide to Mills College to get inside tips about Mills.
• Mail in your housing contract and deposit so you can get a great room!
• Accept your financial aid award.
• Request your final high school or college transcript and send to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by August 1.
• Orientation packets will be mailed by the end of June.
• Take your placement exams online for English, Math, Science or Language, if appropriate.
• Activate your Mills computing account.
• Make your first tuition payment (due August 1).
• Submit a digital photo for your student identification card.
• Plan your trip to Mills.
• Pack!
• Sign up for Orientation events.

Orientation (August 23-26, 2008)

• Web confirmation of semester attendance (Beginning 9:00 am Monday, August 11).
• Move in to your residence hall (Beginning 9:00 am Saturday, August 23).
• Register for classes (Tuesday, August 26 – Friday, August 29).
• Meet your resident assistant and academic advisor.
• Complete a new student computer orientation session.
• Join a club.
• Get a job (see work study opportunities in the M Center)!

Classes Begin 8:00 am Wednesday, August 27!
