Student Life
Exploring new ideas, getting involved, and learning to lead.
The Mills experience extends beyond the classroom into extracurricular activities that challenge you to discover more about yourself, your peers, and the world.
We offer more than 50 student-driven clubs and organizations, many dedicated to making a difference for our students, the community, and the planet.
From career and interest development clubs such as the Economics Club, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Fem Dems, Mills Earth CORPS, and the Classic Films Club to groups that focus on a shared background such as the Mujeres Unidas, the Black Women’s Collective, and Asian Pacific Islander Sisterhood Alliance, Mills has clubs that will help you explore professional opportunities and your identity—as well as have some fun!
Student organizations change frequently to reflect student interests, so check out our latest list of clubs or start thinking about creating your own!
You can also get active in student government and advocate for Mills or become a student-journalist reporting for the College newspaper the Campanil.
Or you can join the efforts beyond our campus gates to make a difference. From Habitat for Humanity to the Mills College Peace Coalition, Mills women are actively exploring important issues and finding ways to make contributions to the broader community.
