Programs

Alumnae/i of Color Committee
The purpose of the Alumnae/i of Color Committee is to foster retention and recruitment of alumnae/i, students, and faculty of color, serving as a force for change where cultural diversity prospers, confronting racism, prejudice, and discrimination, for a thriving multicultural Mills community, so the people of color are valued, full participants.

Alumnae Student Relations Committee
The Alumnae Student Relations Committee (ASR) sponsors programs which help create a positive relationship between students and the Alumnae Association.  This ongoing relationship encourages students to become supportive and active members of the AAMC when they become alumnae.

Class Secretary Program
The purpose of the Class Secretary Program is to promote solidarity among classmates as a means of continuing connection to the College.  For more information on this program contact alumnae-relations@mills.edu or 510.430.3363.

Graduate Committee
The Graduate Committee reaches out to Mills graduates, focusing on the fields in which graduates earned their degrees. 

Oral History Project
The Oral History Project (OHP) devoloped an oral history of Mills College. It is called called "Fires of Wisdom, 1913–1944." You can learn more about this project by reviewing the Fires of Wisdom Website.

Reunion Committee
The purpose of the Reunion Committee is to promote class connection and thereby encouraging greater support to the College.  Reunion is an annual three-day event that brings alumnae back to the campus for festivites, continuing education, and information about the College.
