Schedule

  • Class One-March 7-April 12, 2008
    Fridays, March 7, 14, 21, April 4 & 11—2-5pm Saturdays, Mar 15, Apr 5 & 12—9am-3:30pm
  • Class Two-March 24-28, 2008
    Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu & Fri—9am-5pm
  • Class Three-Apr 25-May 4, 2008                           Friday, April 25—5:30-7:30pm Saturdays & Sundays, April 26, 27 May 3 & 4—9am-3:30pm
    Monday & Wednesday, April 28 & 29—5-8pm 
  • Class Four-July 7-18, 2008                                  Monday through Friday plus Saturday, July 12—9 am–12 pm                                                              

Requirements:

Must be 15 years old and able to pass a swimming pre-test, consisting of:

  • Swim 300 yards using a combination of freestyle (with side breathing and a strong kick) and breaststroke with correct coordination and good power.
  • Recover a submerged ten-pound brick and bring it to the side of the pool within a specified time limit.

Cost: $180, includes text, whistle and lanyard, pocket mask and ARC fees.

To register, print out a Registration Form (link is below) and mail it in with the course fees.  There is a class limit of 15 students.

Prevention! Response! Fitness! Leadership! Professionalism!

June 23-July 3, 2008
Monday-Thursday, 9am-12pm 

Requirements:

Must be 11-14 years of age and able to pass a swimming pre-test, consisting of:

  • Swim front crawl for 25 yards with side breathing and a strong kick
  • Tread water for one minute
  • Swim underwater for 10 feet 

Cost: $140, includes workbook and whistle.
