Our Re-opening Date:

June 10th is the PROJECTED date.  This is a many-phased construction project. To have a cushion in case there are delays, our Late Spring Schedule will start when the construction project is done and the pool is ready to open. We are HOPING that that date is June 10, but there are no guarantees, so we are saying the week of June 10; and this schedule will run through June 23.  Our Summer Schedule will start on June 24th. 

Mills College reserves the right to deviate from the printed schedule from time to time. While every attempt will be made to inform patrons in advance when there will be a change, staffing issues, pool maintenance problems, weather and other safety issues may necessitate closing the pool without notice. We apologize for the inconvenience if that should occur.

During the summer and after 6:30 pm during the year, lap swimmers share lanes with other programs—swim lessons, water polo, staff training and classes.  Having multiple user groups share the pool at the same time allows us to be able to offer more lap swim times.

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Picture ID required for everyone to use the pool area.
Exception: Children accompanied by an adult or program supervisor.

Children under 14 years of age are welcome during recreational swim hours only.

Children under 13 years of age must be directly supervised by an adult.

Children under six years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.

The shallow end is open for play only during recreational swim hours.

Pool Fees

Beginning January, 2008

*Friend of the College indicates the general public.  FOTC are welcome during Lap Swim times. Children are welcome during Recreational Swim times. There is no "membership" fee.

No charge for children under three years of age.

*Discount punch cards are available
           FOTC:  Ten swims for $56
           Alum:   Ten swims for $40

Towel Rental: Daily towel–$2
Pool Lockers: No fee for Mills College students
All others: $35/semester, $35 for the summer
Outside Lockers: $0.50 lock rental/day

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Immediate family members of students or alums must be accompanied by the student or alum, or they will be considered to be Friends of the College.
