Crew

Prospective Student-Athletes

The Mills College Crew Team welcomes anyone who is interested in crew, whether you have never seen a crew race or you are an experienced rower. We field both novice and varsity boats and compete in the NCAA Division III.

The team practices five days a week at Briones Reservoir. Briones is located 20 minutes from Mills College in the hills of Orinda. It was built in 1964 and is one of the biggest and deepest east bay reservoirs, holding 19.7 billion gallons of water. It would be hard to find a more beautiful place to row which also has such ideal rowing conditions. The sun rises over the mountains to reveal blue heron and geese gracing the pristine waters of Briones.

If you are interested in rowing at Mills, please contact the head coach or fill out our online questionnaire.

Thanks, and hope to see you in our boathouse soon!
