The Mills College soccer program began in 1993, and has evolved into a team of dedicated players where every individual plays an important role, from the starters to the substitutes. The team is a supportive environment where teamwork breeds a strong sense of unity among players. There is a wide range of experiences and abilities and and any student who is willing to make the commitment to the team is welcome.
The soccer season begins in late August and concludes around the end of October with afternoon practices and an average of two matches per week. Mills College has dual affiliation with the NAIA and the NCAA Division III, and is a member of the California Pacific Conference. The team plays the majority of its schedule against conference opponents within Northern California and also travels to the East Coast, Southern California, and Oregon for tournaments and matches.

Cyclone soccer players find inspiration to achieve their potential both on and off the field. The Mills College soccer team has had Cal-Pac All-Conference award winners, NAIA All-America Scholar Athletes, and has qualified for the conferenc playoffs, all within the last several years. The lessons our students learn through athletics, both on and off the field, transcend to all aspects of their lives and help to create strong, well-rounded individuals.
