Peter Yee joins Mills College as the Head Volleyball Coach for the 2012-2013 season. Peter has been involved with the sport for over twenty years, including fourteen of them as a coach.

He started coaching AAU juniors in southeast Michigan for one of several clubs that eventually merged into the Huron Valley Volleyball Club. Along the way Peter progressed to coaching higher and higher level teams and was the assistant to the Director of HVVC. Peter has also been the coach of the University of Michigan men's club team (2003-2005) and the Stanford men's club team (2005-2009) where he took Stanford to a top-20 finish at the Club National Championships in the third year of the program. In addition, he has also coached several high school teams in San Jose, Los Altos and Mountain View. Under Peter's guidance players routinely advanced to the next level of competition and several teams earning all-academic honors for their region.

Peter graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the private sector  for 15 years; the majority of those in the automotive sector and the remaining in information technology. He is also a certified instructor in both skiing and snowboarding and enjoys a variety of sports both indoors and out. Peter also teaches several classes through adult community education in the south bay.
