Recreational Games, Intramural Sports and Clubs
Recreational activities provide a great opportunity to take a break from work and studying and try something new!
Check out our current recreation excursions for an opportunity to get off campus and try a new activity.
Past events have included yoga, flag football, Senegalese dance, gardening, cooking, and more! All instructors are members of the Mills community (faculty, staff, students) and volunteer their time. No experience or skill necessary for any of the activities, so gather some friends and come out!
Cyclone Century Club
It's free to join and once you track 100 hours, you'll be recognized as a Cyclone Centurion by receiving a Century Club t-shirt.
Want to learn a new sport or play pick-up games with others? There are groups of students who meet regularly to play badminton, capoeira, and practice karate/personal defense.
Intramurals in the past have included Intramural Basketball, Women's Ultimate Frisbee Clinic, Futsal, and Badminton.
All Mills community members (students, faculty, staff, and alumnae) are welcome to join intramural teams and guests are welcome as well. Contact the Operations Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or 510.430.2172 for more information.
Want to support our Mills College Cyclone student-athletes at home events? Want to help increase school spirit at Mills? Be a Spirit Leader!
Club activities will include promoting home events around campus, leading cheers at home meets and matches, and helping organize theme nights and activities to increase fan support for Mills athletics.
If you're looking for a fun way to get involved at Mills, this could be the club for you. No cheerleading experience necessary! Call the APER office or email email@example.com for more information. Please include "Spirit Squad" in the subject line of your e-mail.
