Information about Recreational Excursions

Recreational excursions provide Mills College students with opportunities to take fun trips off campus to experience some of the amazing sites and activities that northern California has to offer. Past excursions include: Hiking and Hotsprings in Calistoga, Monterey Bay Whale Watching and Horseback Riding on the Beach. Excursions are also a great way to meet new people you might not otherwise encounter. Faculty, staff, alumnae and guests are welcome to participate on a space-available basis.

We're always looking for new ideas. Is there an activity you enjoy or an event you're dying to go to? Tell us about it. Others will probably be interested too!

For information on any upcoming recreation excursions or to suggest an idea please contact colette@mills.edu.

Events

Mills Got Talent
Date: February 3, 2008
Time: 7 pm - 9 pm
Location: Lisser Hall
Cost: FREE!

Mills Got Talent is an annual event that showcases the remarkable talents of Mills College students, faculty and staff. Last year we had singers, poets, musicians, dancers, and a fire performance artist!  So mark your calendar, this is a "can't miss" event!

If you are interested in performing, contact Colette Bowler, colette@mills.edu . Small prizes will be awarded to all participants.

Recreational events provide exciting and entertaining opportunities for the Mills community to gather on and off campus. They're a great way to meet new people, and often they're a chance to learn something new. Faculty, staff and other members of the Mills community are welcome to participate as well.

Past events included Mills Got Talent, a college-wide talent show, and LunaFest, a film festival featuring films for, by, and about women.

For information on any of the recreational events, or to suggest an idea for next semester, please contact Colette Bowler at colette@mills.edu.
