The Mills Chapel is an oasis of spirituality, set in a sunlit sanctuary amidst the eucalyptus groves. The chapel welcomes all students and members of the Mills community, whatever your beliefs, to visit and be inspired by its tranquil beauty. Drop by anytime for quiet reflection or to talk with the director of spiritual and religious life. S/he can provide support and information regarding major faith traditions and their local places of worship. Or you can find resources for religious study.
Special Programs The Office of Spiritual and Religious Life offers a variety of programs for spiritual exploration and growth. Open to the entire Mills community, these programs include a weekly guided meditation, the annual Festival of Light and Dark—an interfaith celebration of winter holidays, and an annual Commencement Eve Baccalaureate service for graduating students. Special programming is held throughout the academic year, and students are encouraged to help plan these events.
