• Our head teachers are highly educated; all have graduate degrees. 
• Our teachers are experienced, as educators of children, as educators of adult learners, as co-educators with families. 
• Our teachers are committed to their work; our eleven head teachers represent more than 110 years of experience in the field, almost half of those at Mills College. 
• Our teachers are dedicated to the dual role of work with both children and college students.
• Our teachers are researchers in both publishing and presenting; they work to advance knowledge in the field of childhood education.
• Our student teachers are preparing for a variety of careers serving children and families including college level teaching, program administration, research, early childhood special education, elementary school teaching, and child life—supporting children and families in health care settings.
