Diversity Programs

A cornerstone of the College's mission is to enable students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to effect thoughtful changes in a global, multicultural society. With more than one-third of the student body people of color, Mills College strives to recognize diversity in all facets.

The Student Diversity Programs at Mills College offer a range of programs to promote awareness and appreciation of diversity in culture, race, socioeconomics, sexual orientation, gender, and more. We create open forums for students to address the opportunities and the challenges that arise within our diverse community of traditional- and non-traditional-aged students.
