Growing students into their power as campus, community, national, and global leaders
Having produced leaders in politics, the arts, literature, education, science and technology, and public policy, Mills College has demonstrated an enduring commitment to women’s leadership since its founding in 1852. Through its Roundtable Fellows Program and partnerships with academic and community-based organizations, the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) at Mills serves as an incubator for examining, advancing, and creating new paradigms around women’s leadership locally, nationally, and globally. WLI sponsors multidisciplinary initiatives and programs that provide opportunities for students to engage in scholarly research and internships focusing on gender, race, and ethnicity. Roundtable Fellows also participate in leadership training workshops and seminars help them gain the skills to become tomorrow’s leaders of companies, consortiums, and countries.
