Mills is located immediately off of Highway 580 in Oakland at the junction of 580 (MacArthur Freeway) and Highway 13 (Warren Freeway), approximately seven miles from the Bay Bridge. There are three MacArthur Blvd. exits from 580 east, so please follow the directions carefully.

By Car

From Downtown Oakland: Take I-580 east toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the second MacArthur Blvd. exit (after High St.). Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From Downtown San Francisco: Take I-80 east to the Bay Bridge and I-580 east toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the second MacArthur Blvd. exit (after High St.). Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From San Francisco International Airport: Take 101 north to the Bay Bridge and I-580 east toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the second MacArthur Blvd. exit (after High St.). Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left. The airport is about 26 miles from campus and less than a 45-minute drive.

From Berkeley and points north: Take I-80 west to 580 east toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the second MacArthur Blvd. exit (after High St.). Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From Downtown Berkeley: Take Ashby Ave. to Tunnel Rd. and onto Highway 13 south. Take the San Francisco exit onto I-580 west, stay in the exit lane, and immediately take the MacArthur/High St. exit. Turn left at the stop sign and proceed under the freeway overpass. Turn left at the light onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From Hayward and points east: Take I-580 west to the MacArthur/High St. exit just after the junction with Highway 13. Turn left at the stop sign and proceed under the freeway overpass. Turn left at the light onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From Oakland International Airport and points south: Take I-880 north to High St. Turn right onto High St. and continue about two miles. Go under the freeway overpass and turn right onto MacArthur Blvd. Go under the freeway again, bearing right to the stop sign. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

From Concord/Walnut Creek: Take I-680 south to Highway 24 west. Come through the tunnel. Take Highway 13 south toward Hayward. Take the San Francisco exit onto I-580 west. Stay in the exit lane and immediately take the MacArthur/High St. exit.
