Mills College Business Students Selected to Compete in Challenge to Fight Global Poverty
Oakland, CA–February 15, 2012 Mills College is proud to announce that a team of students from the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business will compete in the third annual Hult Global Case Challenge focused on generating solutions to global poverty. The Mills students are among the top students from across the globe brought together in this competition.

We are preparing students to be socially responsible organizational leaders who can deliver strong financial performance while also creating a more sustainable and equitable society,” said Dean Deborah Merrill-Sands. “We are excited they have been selected to participate in the Hult challenge to find innovative business solutions to global poverty.”
The Mills team was chosen from more than 4,000 applications. The students will compete in San Francisco during the regional competitions that take place on February 24–25. Regional winners will be flown to New York City for the final competition, which will be held on April 26.
