Mills College Makes Big Waves in the Classroom

Oakland, CA–February 24, 2012 Mills College Cyclone swimmers have been awarded the team scholar all American award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The team received the award for earning the highest grade point average among all NCAA Division III schools.

The team’s fall semester cumulative GPA of 3.65, also ranked second among the 500 colleges and universities in every NCAA division.

The CSCAA team scholar all American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Mills team has been recognized repeatedly for its strong success in the classroom. Mills College boasts a tradition of excellence for its intercollegiate athletics program—both athletically and academically.
