Associate Provost to Moderate Panel at
San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival
Oakland, CA–June 18, 2013 Last year, after the passage of SB 48, also known as the FAIR Education Act, California schools were required to find a way to incorporate LGBT media into classroom teaching. On Saturday, June 22, 2013, as part of the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival, Mills College Associate Provost and Professor of Education David Donahue will moderate a panel on this important topic.
Donahue works with Mills students in the secondary teacher credential program and the educational leadership doctoral program. He has designed curriculum and trained teachers on the human rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students.
