E-Fair!
April 14, 2008–May 14, 2008
Welcome to the first Mills E-Fair. Below you will find instructions for students and alumnae wishing to apply for posted openings as well as instructions for employers wishing to join the Fair.
Students and Alumnae:
1.) Browse the E-Fair Booths
2.) Read the posting carefully and apply as specified in the booth. You will either be asked to respond directly to the organization or to the Director of Career Services here at Mills.
3.) Send a professional resume and cover letter for consideration.
4.) If you do not have a resume and/or cover letter ready to send, please make an appointment with Career Services as soon as possible.
Note: If you are an MBA student, please contact Ileen or Cathy for assistance.
5.) Employers will review all resumes received and on-campus interviews will be arranged beginning the week of April 21st, 2008. You will be contacted by Career Services to set up an interview.
6.) Employers will be signing on to the site to participate in the fair throughout the month, so remember to check back for new additions.
7.) Do not contact employers directly unless asked to do so by a representative from Career Services.
Employers:
1.) This is our pilot E-Fair and we would love to have you join us!
2.) Email Kate Dey, Director of Career Services at kdey@mills.edu and she will register you for the fair and get your booth set up.
3.) Registering as a participant in the E-Fair allows you to reach a broad cross section of the Mills College community. Participation also allows you to interview specific students and/or alumnae on campus at your convenience.
On-Site Career Fairs:
Our Office will be offering on-campus career fairs in the fall and spring of the coming academic year. Dates are being finalized now. If you are interested in participating, please email Kate Dey at kdey@mills.edu.
