Mills is committed to meeting the needs of students with disabilities to support their full engagement in the college experience. Students with disabilities are encouraged to meet with Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to ensure that their needs can be accommodated in housing, registration, class scheduling, test taking, and other facets of campus life.

The director of Services for Students with Disabilities acts as an advisor and advocate to Mills students with disabilities and as a liaison with faculty members. SSD also presents workshops on topics of interest to students with disabilities and the greater Mills community, focusing on raising disability awareness and issues of inclusion.
