Wellness Education and Events

Mills Wellness offers a variety of activities online and on campus as well as connections to resources and training in the community.

The Wellness Manager works with student participants of the Wellness Action Group (WAG) to organize, promote and deliver talks, workshops, events and information tabling throughout the academic year.

Online Information and Education
In 2013, Mills College launched a mandatory online educational program for first-year and transfer students called Campus Clarity's Think About It. Think About It prepares new college students for the unique challenges and responsibilities of college life. Focusing on minimizing the risks associated with alcohol, drugs and sexual violence, Think About It takes a harm-reduction approach that resonates with students and results in a healthy campus culture that fosters learning and growing. In addition, this course fulfills a new legal requirement for prevention education stipulated by the Campus SaVE Act.

The Mills Health Facebook page connects students with information, education, classes, events and involvement opportunities.

The Mills College Wellness, Counseling and Health website pages inform students about services, staff, student involvement opportunities, activities and health plan enrollment procedures. More educational information and links will be coming soon, including links to short online video polls and wellness tips.
