During the academic year all vehicles parked on campus are required to display a current Mills College parking permit. Parking permit application forms and parking permits are available from the Department of Public Safety located in room 113, CPM.
- All staff, faculty and regular visitors on campus must obtain a valid parking permit at a cost of $50.00 per academic year. Payment can be made by cash, personal check or payroll deduction (for staff or faculty).
- Residents on campus may park in designated parking lots near their place of residence only. Residential parking areas are visibly marked with signage. Residents are issued parking permit hang tags that are displayed from the rear view mirror. Residents may not park in designated commuter lots.
- Commuters, staff and faculty are also issued parking permit hang tags that are displayed from the rear view mirror. Each commuter will be issued only one hanging tag since it is transferable from vehicle to vehicle. Commuters, including staff and faculty, may park in any legal parking spaces not designated for residents, or disabled parking spaces.
- Regular visitors to the campus, such as swimmers or dog walkers, are also required to purchase a parking permit. Visitors may park in the Richards gate parking lot only.
- Public Safety Officers will issue citations to vehicles not displaying a valid parking permit, or for expired parking permits.
