Please follow these 6 steps to complete the self-guided computer orientation:

1. Set Your Password for the First Time
2. Visit the Mills Portal - Campus Resources Gateway
3. Register for the Emergency Notification Service
4. Check Your New Email Account
5. Connect to MyFiles for Personal File Storage
6. Learn Student Lab Locations and Lab Rules

4. Check Your New Email Account

Now access your Mills College email account.

1. From the Mills Resource Portal, click the 'Outlook Web Access (OWA)' link.
2. Select OK to accept default time and location settings
3. Select the appropriate security setting for your environment:
   1. Public if you are on a shared or publicly accessed computer
   2. Private if you rarely share your computer
4. Enter your username and password.
5. Select Log On
6. Check your email and browse around.
7. Remember to click the 'Logout' icon when you’re ready to move on.
