Folders
- You can create as many folders as you need to keep your email organized. However, when you switch email clients or move between an office computer and a home computer, the other program may not know about the folder. In this case, use your client's option to 'subscribe', to see hidden folders, to make sure that each program can see all your folders.
- You can choose to hide folders that you wish to keep but not see every time you see a list of 'current' folders.
Mills directory of names
- You can make sure that you are addressing the right person at Mills by using WebMail's 'Expand Names' button when composing. This finds all matches to the name, or partial name, you type, and if not unique, let's you pick the one you need from a pull-down list.
- Other clients need to be configured to use this service and some older programs do not support it, but it is extremely helpful when available. We recommend that you not send email with confidential information in it to anyone without confirming that you have the right address. Mills Directory can help. Note: This service is only good on campus. There is no access to our directory from off-campus.
