Outlook Web Access (OWA)

Outlook Web Access (OWA) is the Mills College web email system that will allow you to read your Mills email from anywhere with Internet access. In addition OWA has many other features such as task manager, address book, notepad, and calendar integrated with meeting and appointment settings via e-mail and capable of shared views.

Outlook Web Access (OWA) Quick Start Guide
Once you have set your password and retrieved your username for your Mills account, you may start using your email account.

  1. From a computer that has Internet access, open a web browser (example: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) and go to the Mills College home page (http://www.mills.edu/)
  2. In the lower right corner of the Mills College home page select Check Mail tab
  3. Select Email
  4. Select OK to accept default time and location settings
  5. Select the appropriate security setting for your environment:
    1. Public if you are on a shared or pubicly accessed computer
    2. Private if you rarely share your computer
  6. Enter your user name and password.
  7. Select Log On
