Please follow these 6 steps to complete the self-guided computer orientation:

  1. Set Your Password for the First Time
  2. Visit the Mills Portal - Gateway to Campus Resources
  3. Register for the Emergency Notification Service
  4. Check Your New Email Account
  5. Connect to MyFiles for Personal File Storage
  6. Learn Student Lab Locations and Lab Rules

Be sure to log off of the computer when you are finished to protect your files from being accessed by the next person to use the computer.

Now you can set up your computer. View or print out the appropriate Wireless or Ethernet instructions from the Connecting Your Personal Computer to the Mills Network page.
