The best way to get to know Mills is by visiting the campus. From the moment you enter the front gate, you’ll find yourself welcomed by century-old trees that line Richards Road. Between the Mediterranean-style buildings and the California sun, you may find yourself falling in love with the campus, as so many of our students do.
Attend an Information Session
Attending an on-campus information session is a great opportunity to experience the Mills Public Policy Program’s dynamic learning community. You will have the chance to meet currently enrolled students, alumni, your potential fellow classmates, and members of our faculty and staff.
Schedule an Admission Consultation
An admission consultation is an informal meeting with a representative from the Public Policy program to discuss your personal, academic, and career objectives and determine whether Mills can help you reach these goals. If you would like, we can review your transcripts to determine if you’ve already met some of the master of public policy (MPP) foundation requirements. Previous course work completed at Mills or another institution may count toward your foundation requirements, reducing your number of classes and time needed to graduate. To schedule a one-on-one meeting, please contact our Director of MBA and MPP admission at 510.430.3173 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visit a Class
A class visit will allow you to experience the rigor, personalization, and interdisciplinary nature of the Mills Public Policy program. Class visits can be scheduled during most of the academic year, and a current list of classes can be found here. Class visit requests must be made two weeks in advance through this form.
Meet with a Current Student
Our current MPP and joint degree students are always eager to speak with prospective students who are considering Mills. During a campus visit, you and a public policy graduate student can chat over coffee, tea, or the beverage of your choice at one of our charming Mills dining facilities. To schedule a meeting with a current MPP student, email email@example.com or call 510.430.3173.
Take a Campus Tour
Walking tours of the campus are offered by the Office of Graduate Admissions Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00 am. We encourage interested students to combine a campus tour with other visit opportunities, such as admissions consultations and class visits, as detailed below. To sign up for a campus tour, please use this form. For a sneak peek of our beautiful campus, check out our virtual tour.
