Would You Like to Bring the Best Ideas Together to Create Social Change?
Solving complex social problems requires collaboration between businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. It also requires leaders who know how to work with people in these different sectors. Our joint master of public policy/MBA accelerated degree program will equip you with the leadership, management, and analysis skills to operate in a political system and succeed in roles that span organizational and sector boundaries.
The joint MPP/MBA normally requires three years of full-time graduate study, but you can complete it in just two years beyond your BA at Mills—especially if you major in politics, economics, policy, and law (PEPL), business administration, or economics. A minor in public policy will also help you fulfill undergraduate requirements for the accelerated degree.
Your course work will provide you with an interdisciplinary toolkit that includes economics, statistics, ethics, accounting, management, and policy skills. Our San Francisco Bay Area location will expose you to a diverse set of real-world issues. At the end of your graduate studies, you'll use your new skills to address an issue confronting a government or nonprofit client and write a major policy report.
