Do You Want to Make a Difference in the Lives of Young Children?
The nationwide shortage of well-prepared early childhood educators gives you an opportunity to impact the future of infants and young children. The Mills early childhood education accelerated degree program enables you to earn a bachelor's degree in child development and an accelerated master's degree in early childhood education.
As part of your program, you'll spend time in the Mills College Children’s School on campus, where you'll work with children from infancy through fifth grade. In addition, you may engage in mentored research projects with faculty advisors, such as projects in the Language Development Laboratory, and participate in professional networking forums for early childhood leaders.
Your theoretical and practical training will prepare you for a variety of interdisciplinary fields related to early childhood education, and your graduate degree will enable you to take on leadership, teaching, and research roles in a range of educational organizations.
