Commencement: Private Parties

Outdoor private parties are allowed on campus on a first come-first served basis. The College will not reserve space or manage Commencement parties. The College will not provide tables, chairs, or other equipment or any set-ups for private parties, due to the demand placed on the College's equipment and personnel during Commencement weekend. Indoor locations for private parties are not available the week leading up to and the day of Commencement. Twenty guests is the maximum number of attendees for private parties per location. The College requests that no outdoor private parties take place on the Friday evening before Commencement.

Please do not leave any bags, coolers, outdoor furniture or other personal belongings unattended for safety and security reasons. The College is not responsible for unattended items.

Please clean up after your party using marked trash, recycle and compost bins.

If food is being delivered, the caterer/delivery service must enter the Mills campus using the Seminary Ave gate. Delivery vehicles are not authorized to remain on campus except for the time needed to transfer food.

Open fires, barbecues, fire-pits, grills (charcoal, electric and/or gas) are NOT permitted on campus.

Locations NOT available for outdoor parties:
