Mills is ranked the #1 Best Value College among regional universities in the West by U.S. News & World Report. This ranking recognizes our high academic quality coupled with our commitment to making our education accessible and affordable to a diverse pool of students. We want as many students as possible to be able to experience the transformative experience that Mills provides.
You may be surprised to learn that the "sticker price" of a college education is not what most students will ever pay. We've created a breakdown to help you and your family understand how to afford a Mills education.
Discover the cost of a Mills education while using our net price calculator to estimate how much financial aid you might receive based on your individual financial circumstances.
Your academic achievements and unique talents and experience may qualify you for a range of merit scholarship opportunities. We also offer need-based scholarships to help you pay for college.
More than 80 percent of incoming Mills students receive some form of financial aid. We offer a variety of merit and need-based scholarships that can total up to $26,000 for first-year students and up to $17,000 for transfer students. Additional aid is available through federal and state grants, private scholarships, loans, and work-study opportunities.
You don't have to figure all this out on your own. You can connect with an admission counselor for general information, and they can refer to you a financial aid specialist for more detailed assistance.
