Competitive Swimming

In Comp Swim participants will learn strokes and skills they will need and want for comfort, technique and performance in competitive swimming. Taught in a recreational environment, the course includes stroke technique in all four competitive strokes, flip turns, lane etiquette for swim team practice meets, breath control, how to train for comfort and performance, and other competitive swimming skills. This program is designed for children ages 5-14 who are interested in the competitive swimming environment, looking for a healthy and fun exercise, and who want to learn how to become a stronger swimmer.

Comp Swim is a great way to build skills, technique and an aerobic base to prepare for the Junior Mills Swim Team, the "Twisters." The Twisters is a summer program.
