Mills College Undergrad Orientation SO Mills: Student Orientation 2016 will be a great time to connect with your classmates, get to know your new campus home, and learn more about what a great academic experience you have ahead of you.

Family Orientation
Saturday–Sunday, August 20–21, 2016

Saturday, August 20th begins at 3:30 pm and ends on Sunday, August 21st at 1:30 pm

Family Orientation will be an opportunity for family members of new students to learn about resources to help your student and talk about the transition that you will be going through. We ask that family members leave after a lunch with their student on the 21st.

Family members who may be joining you at Orientation will want to view the Orientation Schedule for Families.

Graduate Student Orientation
Tuesday, August 23, 2016
9:00 am–1:00 pm (general graduate orientation)
1:00 pm (department specific graduate orientation)

International Student Orientation
Monday, August 22, 2016 (5:00 pm–9:00 pm)

We will have International Student Support staff present to you about the resources available to international students. Come meet other new international students and learn about different aspects of being in the US and Academia. Topics that will be covered include: academic and social integration, health services, English language support, and key immigration guidelines.

All international students, both degree-seeking and short-term exchange, are required to attend this orientation session in addition to the campus-wide and department specific undergraduate and graduate orientations. If you are unable to make international orientation please contact us at

Please bring your Passport and all immigration documents (I-20 or DS-2019, I-94) to the orientation.
