New Graduate Students
Tuesday, August 29, 2017
9:00 am–1:00 pm

Your academic program may have a department orientation in addition to the New Graduate Student Orientation. You will be receiving more detailed information on departmental orientation activities during the summer, some of which begin prior to Tuesday. Please connect with your department for department specific orientation. New Graduate Student Orientation is for you to get you connected to other resources available to you that aren’t in your department, and meet all of the other incoming graduate students.

Mills College Undergrad Orientation SO Mills: Student Orientation 2017 will be a great time to connect with your classmates, get to know your new campus home, and learn more about what a great academic experience you have ahead of you.

Welcome to Mills College! We are anxiously awaiting your arrival at SO Mills: Student Orientation in August. Orientation has been specially designed to assist you in your transition to life at Mills. We hope you will connect to peers, faculty and staff members as you are introduced to the history and rich traditions of Mills College. The experience will inform you of the many tools and resources available on campus to make your Mills experience as successful as possible.

Family Orientation
Saturday, August 26–Sunday, August 27, 2017

Saturday, August 26th begins at 4:30 pm and ends on Sunday, August 27th at 1:30 pm

This family orientation is focused on family support for undergraduate students. Family members will have a brief orientation so you will have the opportunity to ask the pressing questions about Financial Aid, Housing, Student Access and Support Services, etc for your student. Saturday evening will be an opportunity for a reception, and Sunday morning will be different panels to allow for Q & A. We hope this short orientation will allow you to see all of the support systems that are in place at Mills so you can share the resources with your student.
