You'll connect with the people and resources who will support you during your college journey as you achieve your academic and personal goals. We'll introduce you to the history and rich traditions of Mills College. And you'll get to know your future friends as you settle into your new home-away-from-home.

The first semester at a new college is the start of a new journey for families, too. We invite the families and support networks of our new undergraduate students to join us for Family Orientation. Tour our safe, idyllic campus. Meet with Mills faculty and staff and get to know the people who will be working with your student. Ask us any outstanding questions you may have about financial aid, housing, student access and support services, and more. At a Saturday evening reception, you'll also get to mingle with other families of new students who, like you, are now part of the Mills community.
When your student registers online for SO Mills: Student Orientaton, let us know how many family members will be attending in order to reserve your spot at Family Orientation.

We look forward to your arrival on campus for Orientation! Our one-day program for graduate students will connect you with the helpful Mills resources that are available to you in addition to your department's resources. To foster the rich tradition of interdisciplinary collaboration among our graduate students, we also host a mixer where you can meet your new peers and Mills faculty from across all of our graduate programs.
All new graduate students must attend SO Mills: Student Orientation in addition to any departmental Orientation events. Register online to confirm your attendance and then view the schedule of events.
